Dr. Bryan A. Jones is an ordained minister, a board certified clinical chaplain, clinical pastoral educator supervisor, a licensed professional counselor and a media personality. Dr. Jones earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Averett University in Danville, VA where he was a double major in History and Political Science and double minor in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Dr. Jones also earned his Master of Divinity from The Samuel Proctor School of Theology (STVU) at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA and has earned his Doctor of Ministry (D. Min) at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH. Dr. Jones’s ministry focus project is entitled, “A Clinical Model for Dealing with the Ineffectiveness of Mental Health in the African-American Church.”

Dr. Jones is the Executive Director of both The Joshua Generation Care and Consultant Services, LLC in Atlanta, GA and The Foundation for Therapeutic and Spiritual Empowerment, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit which serves the community by providing affordable mental health services, mental health awareness and mental health education. Dr. Jones is a licensed professional counselor, an ordained minister, a board certified clinical chaplain and a clinical pastoral education (CPE) supervisor. Dr. Jones is the radio host of his own show, “Therapeutic Conversations Show” on 108praise radio.com which discusses mental health and spirituality. Dr. Jones is passionate about helping God’s people through mental health, spirituality and empowerment.

Dr. Jones has worked in the field of mental health for over 20 years with specialties in working with Couples and Families, Grief/Bereavement, End of Life Issues, Depression and the LGBTQ community. Bryan’s chosen methods of therapy are Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and Humanistic Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy.
